Dr. Lauren Zalaski is a physician with advanced training in dermatology, bringing extensive experience in medical, and minor surgical dermatology to her practice. She completed both her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Alberta, earning her MD in 2020, followed by the University of Alberta Dermatology Residency Program (2020–2023) and the Family Medicine Residency Program (2023–2024). She holds certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada and is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Dr. Zalaski’s clinical areas of interest include the diagnosis and management of acne and acne scarring, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, vitiligo, melasma, hidradenitis suppurativa, hair loss, actinic keratosis, skin infections, and various pediatric dermatology concerns. She also performs minor surgical procedures such as cosmetic mole removal, lesion excisions, and lipoma and cyst removal. Her research background includes published work on histological factors influencing sentinel lymph node biopsy positivity in cutaneous melanoma.
